It all started back in 1972, exactly 32 years ago, from the idea to sell two-way radios from Italy capable of being used all over the world in order to improve communications through a partnership with the winning Midland brand which was already a consolidated name amongst radio amateurs in the U.S. and other countries.

An ambitious plan which took shape year after year thanks to the perseverance and strong determination of all of us.

The dream became reality: today CTE is highly specialised in the radio communication sector for the consumer, professional and broadcasting markets, operating on an international level. At the beginning the market was simple: in the pioneering days of the CB amateurs it was enough to have a radio set to sell. The scene rapidly changed: the world of communication is more and more geared towards new ideas, advanced technologies and service and a highly competitive market. At the same time quick timing and a high degree of flexibility have become basic requisites and a sharp far-sightedness is essential. Up to now we have been blessed with success: a great number of people now choose our products and place their confidence in our products. An excellent result thanks mainly to you who have been working with CTE with enthusiasm and professional commitment and believing in the company and consequently helping me to make my dream come true.

But my thanks go mainly to our customers, some of whom have been with us right from the beginning of this adventure, and to all those who have in so many ways given us their support over these years. Today CTE is what everyone of you has given and done for the company, with competence and enthusiasm in a compact team spirit.

To continue to nurture, with the same enthusiasm of 30 years ago, the passion that has led us to grow and to give to the best of our abilities is the promise I would like to renew to you. In order to continue to be, together with you, a frontline point of reference in the world of telecommunications, constantly ahead in the search for innovative solutions!
